Bath Area Play Project needs laptops, phones, pens and notebooks, and cleaning and hygiene supplies

The Charity:

Based in Bath but offering services for families across North-East Somerset, the Bath Area Play Project (BAPP) believes in facilitating a child’s right to play.

The charity runs a nursery and pre-school, specialist activities for disabled children, and free open-access holiday playdays. Last summer alone, the playdays reached over 5,400 people. BAPP also operates a family support and play service – an early-help service that provides targeted support to vulnerable families before statutory social care intervention becomes required.

The Project:

BAPP is in need of donations that can help reduce the workload of its staff, and resources that reduce its day-to-day costs.

The charity particularly needs laptops, so that its outreach family support workers do not need to travel back to the office to complete reflective activity logs, and can spend more time supporting families across Bath and North-East Somerset.

The Ask:

  • Laptops

  • Mobile phones

  • Pens and notebooks

  • Cleaning and hygiene supplies – including hand towels, disposable gloves, and anti-bacterial spray
