Volunteer spotlight! Meet Tom.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

My name is Tom, I live in North London and volunteer as a social content producer at A Good Thing. In my free time I am interested in art and music and love making my own video and photo pieces.

What’s your role as part of the volunteering programme?

My role sees me creating graphics and videos to be used within A Good Thing’s social media accounts, helping spread the charity’s message and bring in new users.

What do you hope to learn from your volunteering experience?

I hope to gain experience creating social first content for specific audiences in this role and develop an understanding of how to make the most appealing content possible.

Tell us about a success you’ve had in the role so far:

In this role I have worked with Cathy to create a short video describing the origins of A Good Thing and the motivations behind its formation.
